At Lake Superior Academy, we are lucky to have Susie Schlehuber as principal. Since the school’s inception, she has been on a mission to offer the children of the Sault Ste. Marie area a phenomenal Montessori education. Her creativity and commitment has been flourishing since 2016. She obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education from Lake Superior State and her M.S in Educational Psychology, Cognition and Development from Rutger’s University. She has been in education for 16 years and doesn’t see an end in sight.
Ms. Susie is most excited about helping students learn to love learning and life in general. She is married to Roger Schlehuber and they have five children and eight grandchildren. She loves kayaking, snowshoeing, reading and playing with her grandkids.
